Real-Time Precise Point Positioning during Outages of the PPP-B2b Service

چکیده

The precise point positioning service on B2b signal (PPP-B2b) is a real-time decimeter-level provided by the BeiDou-3 Global Navigation Satellite System (BDS-3). provides users with high-precision orbit and clock corrections through geostationary (GEO) satellites, which means that PPP-B2b would be unusable if GEO satellites were blocked. In this study, performance of results during outages are comprehensively investigated. showed PPP can achieve satisfactory accuracy extending nominal validity received corrections. After for 10 min, BDS-3 medium earth (MEO) mean root-mean-square error (RMSE) values extended 0.16 m, 0.26 0.23 m in radial, along-, cross-track directions, respectively. inclined (IGSO) was slightly worse than MEO satellites; Positioning (GPS) RMSE 0.11 0.45 0.33 terms clock, standard deviation (STD) reached 0.17 ns, 0.20 0.22 ns after min MEO, IGSO, GPS maintained outage evaluated based five stations around China. Our experiments that, as long interruption time does not exceed comparable obtained following correction.

Real-Time Single Frequency Precise Point Positioning Using SBAS Corrections

Real-time single frequency precise point positioning (PPP) is a promising technique for high-precision navigation with sub-meter or even centimeter-level accuracy because of its convenience and low cost. The navigation performance of single frequency PPP heavily depends on the real-time availability and quality of correction products for satellite orbits and satellite clocks. Satellite-based au...

Local troposphere augmentation for real-time precise point positioning

The IGS real-time service (RTS) enables real-time precise point positioning (PPP) at a global scale. A long convergence time however is still a challenging factor. In order to reduce the convergence time, external troposphere corrections could be introduced to remove the troposphere effects on the coordinate solution. This paper proposes the use of a local troposphere model to augment real-time...

Validation and Assessment of Multi-GNSS Real-Time Precise Point Positioning in Simulated Kinematic Mode Using IGS Real-Time Service

Precise Point Positioning (PPP) is a popular technology for precise applications based on the Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS). Multi-GNSS combined PPP has become a hot topic in recent years with the development of multiple GNSSs. Meanwhile, with the operation of the real-time service (RTS) of the International GNSS Service (IGS) agency that provides satellite orbit and clock correctio...

Precise Real-Time Positioning Using Network RTK

In the classic RTK method using a single reference station the rover needs to work within a short range from the reference station due to the spatial decorrelation of distance-dependent errors induced by the ionosphere, troposphere and orbital errors. The operating range of RTK positioning is thus dependent on the existing atmospheric conditions and is usually limited to a distance of up to 10-...

Analysing the Zenith Tropospheric Delay Estimates in On-line Precise Point Positioning (PPP) Services and PPP Software Packages

As Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) signals travel through the troposphere, a tropospheric delay occurs due to a change in the refractive index of the medium. The Precise Point Positioning (PPP) technique can achieve centimeter/millimeter positioning accuracy with only one GNSS receiver. The Zenith Tropospheric Delay (ZTD) is estimated alongside with the position unknowns in PPP. Estim...
